MDMC 2011 SCHEDULENotes: This schedule is ever changing! Please check back often to see if any times or sessions have changed.Friday will be run as an "un-conference" where participants at MDMC can offer up a session idea or offer to lead a session. Information will be shared about this on Tuesday.


TUESDAY, JULY 26 - Day 1

    • Go to Kohl's Center (on left as enter Galleries). Need ID to exchange for iPod. Lasts about 30 mins.

  • 10:45 Moodle Introductory & Login for ide@s Scholars & 3rd Credit Individuals (Connie) - Northwestern Mutual. (15 mins)

  • 1pm Google Apps Sessions - Lubar Auditorium
    • (Required) All participants start in Lubar for Google Docs requirement for project (CK)
    • (Optional) Beginner Google Apps - Quadracci (GP) - Not familiar with, need better understanding of what else Google is beyond just search
    • (Optional) Intermediate Google Apps - Lubar Auditorium (TL) - Used Google Docs with colleagues or students and ready to learn more and go to the next step
    • (Optional) Advanced Google Apps - Northwestern Mutual (CK) - VERY familiar with Google tools and want to discuss and share ideas with other like minded advanced users
  • 2pm Wikispaces - Lubar Auditorium (CJ & TS coach)
    • Join the MDMC2011Projects Wiki to post project pieces to your Group Page
    • Come if needed - overview of how to edit and embed objects on a wiki page

NOTE: Before attending today's Closing Session, please have your project completed and ready to be looked at by your Instructor/Advisor so he/she can sign-off that project is complete or close to complete by close of conference. Please make time frame arrangements with your instructor if project is not yet complete.

    • Have your table set up to show off your wiki page with all your project pieces. Museum workers invited to attend. MDMC participants are encouraged to walk around to other groups so you can see what others created!
